Open Access Policy
Immediate, free access.
All articles are published Open Access and are freely available online immediately upon publication—no paywalls, no embargoes.
License and reuse.
Unless stated otherwise on the article page, Classroom Experiences applies the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license. Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, adapt, and build upon the work for any lawful purpose, provided proper attribution to the original authors and source is given. Authors are responsible for securing permissions for any third-party content not covered by the article’s license.
Author rights.
Authors retain copyright. By submitting, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish and disseminate the Version of Record (VoR).
No embargo & self-archiving.
Green OA is fully permitted. Authors may deposit the preprint, accepted manuscript (AAM), and Version of Record in institutional or subject repositories, personal websites, and academic networks at any time, with a citation and link to the VoR.
Text and data mining (TDM).
TDM is allowed under the article’s CC license. Please cite the source and preserve attribution and licensing notices in derived datasets where feasible.
Funder and institutional mandates.
The journal’s CC licensing and immediate OA comply with most funder and institutional open-access policies. Authors should indicate any specific mandates at submission so the article page can reflect them accurately.
APCs and editorial independence.
Article Processing Charges (APCs), if applicable, are billed only after acceptance and do not influence editorial decisions. Peer review is independent of authors’ ability to pay. Waivers/discounts are available per the Journal Business Model.
Archiving and preservation.
The Version of Record is hosted on the journal platform and preserved in trusted digital archives to ensure
long-term accessibility and permanence.
- Metadata openness.
Article metadata are openly available for indexing, discovery, and interoperability; third parties may harvest metadata for non-commercial and commercial services consistent with the article license.
- Ethics and permissions.
Open access does not waive ethical obligations. Authors must ensure participant privacy, secure permissions for any restricted materials, and provide clear attributions for reused content.
This policy reflects the journal’s commitment to barrier-free access, responsible reuse, and durable preservation of classroom action-research outputs that educators and researchers can trust and apply.
