Archiving Policy
Socio-Economic and Humanistic Aspects for Township and Industry (Sehati) follows the archiving recommendations outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure the integrity and accessibility of published content. Our archiving policy is designed to meet COPE's standards for the preservation of scholarly work.
Digital Archiving
All articles published in Sehati are digitally archived using the following methods:
-
Journal Website: The primary platform for accessing our published content is the journal's website. All articles are available and organized in an easy-to-navigate format.
-
Digital Repositories: To enhance accessibility and preservation, our published articles are also deposited in recognized digital repositories, libraries, and archives, both nationally and internationally.
-
DOI Registration: Each published article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI). DOIs provide a permanent and unique link to the article, ensuring its continued accessibility, even if the journal's website structure changes.
-
Preservation Systems: We employ robust digital preservation systems and technologies to ensure the long-term integrity of our digital content. This includes regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
Print Archiving (Optional)
While Sehati primarily operates as an online journal, we offer an optional print-on-demand service for authors and readers interested in obtaining hard copies of specific issues or articles. These printed copies can be obtained through our print partner and are produced on-demand, reducing waste and environmental impact.
Open Access Archiving
Our commitment to archiving extends to ensuring open access to content for the foreseeable future. We adhere to recognized standards and best practices for digital archiving, following COPE's guidelines for open access journals.
Data Archiving
In line with COPE's recommendations, we encourage authors to deposit relevant research data in appropriate data repositories or archives. Data sets associated with published articles should be made available whenever possible to promote transparency and reproducibility in research.
Access to Archived Content
All archived content in Sehati remains freely accessible to the public. Our commitment to open access ensures that anyone can access and download content without restrictions. We encourage readers to explore and cite articles from our archives.
