  2. Formal Complaint: Allegations of misconduct should be submitted in writing to the editorial office via email. The complaint should include a detailed description of the alleged misconduct, supporting evidence, and contact information of the complainant.

Handling Allegations

  1. Confidentiality: The editorial team will treat all allegations confidentially to protect the interests of all parties involved.

  2. Preliminary Assessment: Upon receiving an allegation, the editorial office will conduct a preliminary assessment to determine if the complaint merits further investigation. This may involve consulting experts in the field.

  3. Notification: If the allegation is deemed credible, the individuals involved, including authors, reviewers, and editors, will be informed of the investigation.

  4. Investigation: An investigation committee will be formed to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation into the allegations. The committee may include experts from relevant fields.

  5. Rights of the Accused: Individuals accused of misconduct will be given an opportunity to respond to the allegations and provide their perspective during the investigation.

Outcomes

  1. Findings: The investigation committee will provide a detailed report of its findings. If misconduct is confirmed, the appropriate actions will be taken, including but not limited to rejection of the manuscript, retraction of the published work, and notification of relevant institutions.

  2. Appeals: Authors have the right to appeal the findings and actions taken. Appeals will be reviewed by an independent body.
