Article Readiness Level Testing

Article Readiness Level Testing (ARLT)

Use this self-check before submission. Select a score per criterion (Strong / Fair / Poor), sum to obtain your ARLT score (0–100), then see the Readiness Bands for next actions.

B) How to Use

  1. Assign one score (Strong / Fair / Poor) per criterion.
  2. Sum all points to get your ARLT score (0–100).
  3. Use the bands below to plan revisions or proceed to submission.

C) Readiness Bands

Score Interpretation & Actions
81–100 High readiness. Finalise formatting and IEEE references; submit.
65–80 Moderate readiness. Minor edits likely—tighten Introduction/Discussion; ensure data transparency; proofread.
50–64 Borderline. Major revision recommended—clarify gap & methods; improve result presentation; add recent primary sources.
0–49 Low readiness. Redesign the manuscript (aim, method, coherence) before reattempting submission.

Tip: Use Calibri 11 pt, single spacing, and place tables/figures in-text at first mention. Follow IEEE citations and provide DOIs/URLs where available.
